Please keep Patricia Ray and her adult son, Kenneth Laverne Ray Jr., lifted in prayer.

We are asking the church to intercede for healing, restoration, healthy boundaries, mutual respect, honor, maturity, peace, and freedom within their mother-and-son relationship.

Please pray that God breaks every unhealthy pattern of adult-child codependency, fear, control, frustration, resentment, enabling, and emotional dependence between them. Pray that Patricia is given wisdom, peace, discernment, and freedom from the fear that causes her to feel responsible for controlling or managing every aspect of Kenneth’s life.

Pray that God helps Patricia trust Him more deeply concerning Kenneth’s future and gives her the strength to establish healthy boundaries without guilt. May she know when to help, when to encourage, when to say no, and when to allow Kenneth to carry the responsibilities that belong to him as an adult.

Please pray especially for Kenneth Laverne Ray Jr. to experience greater maturity, responsibility, discipline, motivation, confidence, stability, and independence. Pray that God opens doors and gives him the determination to obtain his driver’s license, secure reliable transportation and a vehicle, become more financially responsible, and eventually obtain a safe and stable place of his own.

Pray that Kenneth grows in his ability to handle his own appointments, responsibilities, finances, transportation, household needs, decisions, and daily routines. May God surround him with people who encourage growth, accountability, wisdom, and healthy independence.

Please also pray for Kenneth’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Pray for wisdom concerning his medications, sleep, marijuana use, and every substance that enters his body. Ask God to protect him from anything that could negatively affect his judgment, stability, treatment, or overall health. Pray that he remains honest with his doctors and mental-health providers and receives wise, appropriate care.

Pray that Kenneth learns to honor Patricia through his words, attitude, gratitude, respect, responsibility, and actions. At the same time, pray that Patricia is able to honor Kenneth as an adult man by allowing him room to grow, make responsible decisions, develop confidence, and become increasingly self-sufficient.

We ask God to replace arguing with understanding, control with trust, enabling with accountability, fear with faith, resentment with forgiveness, and unhealthy dependence with healthy love.

Please pray that this family enters a new season where Patricia can experience peace, freedom, rest, joy, and a life beyond constant worry, while Kenneth grows into greater independence, responsibility, stability, and maturity.

May God strengthen their relationship without allowing either of them to remain trapped in unhealthy patterns. May Patricia have freedom without guilt, Kenneth have independence without abandonment, and both of them experience genuine healing, mutual respect, honor, peace, and love.

We ask the church to stand in agreement that God will guide every step concerning Kenneth’s driver’s license, vehicle, housing, finances, responsibilities, health, and future, and that He will give Patricia the grace and wisdom to release what she cannot control into His hands.
