Update on my niece, Amber. Though it was scheduled for January, a bout of pneumonia pushed back her complicated, risky spine surgery. But now she is back in Denver and surgery happens TOMORROW, Feb 13. Amber is a paraplegic - a result of a shooting at her work a year ago, The surgery involves the surgeon going into her spine and burning hypersensitive nerves to alleviate debilitating, excruciating pain throughout her body,

Prayers for God's hand to guide the surgeon throughout the entire 15 hour surgery. Prayers that the staff is kind, observant, and attentive to the needs of the surgeon and Amber. And, finally, that the surgery is a SUCCESS and Amber is free from tremendous constant pain.
