An update to a previous request...
My husband, Jason, has been recovering well from a horrible surgery for a hernia repair that turned in to peritonitis. Thankful for that.
Continued request... He is still quite sick from the polycystic kidney disease and has cysts bursting and getting infected constantly now for the last month. Specifically pray for relief (there is no cure). He is also enduring hemodialysis while he continues to heal from the surgery. It is causing terribly low blood pressure, weakness, fatigue, nausea, dangerously high potassium levels and terrible headaches. He is supposed to be going back to peritoneal dialysis soon and that should help, along with freeing me up to work more. He is also dealing with being completely fed up of feeling so terrible and not being able to do anything other than lay in bed, sick and in pain, all the time. Specifically please pray for relief, HOPE, and that he can get back on pd asap.
Thirdly, but in my opinion the most important, please pray that we find a 100% compatible kidney donor. Jason is very tall, he has O blood type and he is 47. He has a medium/high range of antibodies (I'm sure there is a technical term) that as it increases , say due to transfusions, increases his chance of rejection of a kidney. All these things come in to account when trying to find a match and unfortunately we have been denied many potential donors. The perfect one is out there somewhere and my timeline is apparently not the same as God's... I need prayer for patience and control issues haha.
Thanks!
Update on my friend Jenny Swift. She saw her Dr on Monday and there is still infection. She was sent home with the news she would need the 3rd surgery to debride and clean the wound the following Monday. Jenny spiked a fever yesterday, 7/30, and has been admitted to the hospital. Surgery is this morning. Please pray for ALL infection to be debrided and for complete healing of the wound on her foot.
Salvation for my family. Miranda and her 3 girls: Madison, Madeline, Meredith for more faith in Jesus. 1 silent request. Wisdom on the job. Thanks
Please pray for my friend Jenny Swift. She has a severe wound on the bottom of her foot and had to have 2 surgeries to debride the wound. They sent her home from the hospital with a PICC line with strong antibiotics and a wound vac. She met with her Dr today and the wound looked good from the top but closer to the sole there was infection. The Dr did a mini debridement in the office and if the wound is not remarkably better early next week she will have to have a 3rd surgery. Jenny is asking for big prayers that the wound will heal and surgery will not be necessary. Thanks for praying.
Prayers, please, for my brother, age 61 in Graceville. He passed out due to dehydration. He has a fracture in his spine and level 2 slipped disc. He is awaiting transport to a Dothan hospital, but a bed has not become available. He is extremely homesick to get home.
Please pray for strength for my husband Jason as he battles end stage renal disease and polycystic kidney disease. For health, and for patience as we wait for a living kidney donor. For strength for both of us not to strangle each other And for it to be placed on someone's heart that they may consider giving the gift of life so that my husband can feel better, get up and out of bed for more than a dr appt, and we can get back to a somewhat normal life.
prayers that my treatment for cancer will start working. I start my 2nd round of chemo tomorrow 7/13
A friend of ours in Washington, Christoph, was diagnosed on Wednesday with bladder cancer that has metastasized to the lungs. He is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow (13 July 2020). Please pray for him, his family, his doctors, and for a full recovery in alignment with God’s will.
Please pray for me feeling a little down because of everything going on in the world I'm ok I know I have a God that Loves me just feeling a little down today
Please pray for Chris Borgman's father, Lou Brown. He and her mom live in Virginia. He is elderly and in failing health; heading back to the hospital for the 2nd time in three days. Chris' mom could use prayers as well.
