I would just like to thank everyone for their prayers for Sasha. Parker Police officer that was in a severe wreck.

Here is an update from her mother:

I know this is long, but a lot has happened since last night.

Last night I had a conversation with Sasha. She couldn’t speak but she could look at me and squeeze my finger. She was able for the first time to actually look over at me when I spoke. She still can’t turn her head because of the neck brace which has been to keep her head steady since she is missing part of her skull. She understood everything I was saying. I told her I was going to read her a bible verse and her eyebrow went way up. She listened and squeezed my finger again.

Luke 8 :50

“Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed. “

Thank you cousin Deb for that verse.

Then I told her she had been in an accident and was in the hospital. I explained that Larry was doing well but was in a rehab center strengthing his broken leg. I told her that we loved her and listed her kids and nieces and nephew all loved her too. Then I told her I knew she was going to get better. I said you are young, stubborn, and hard headed enough that you will succeed. She ended by squeezing my finger.

She had another CAT scan this morning. just got the results. The brain looks very good. They plan to replace her skull piece on Thursday. She can now open both eyes and look at you. Her eyes aren’t glazed over any more. They are thinking of removing her feeding tube and her breathing tube possible today. This girl is amazing!

They just removed her brain drains. While they were doing that I asked the neuro surgery if they could just finish shaving her head on Thursday. Right now she has a very ugly mullet. When I said that her eyes came WIDE OPEN! Lol.
