I have been out of work for a while, and I'm really struggling. I used to go to Northstar when I was stationed in Panama City years ago. I just want to be on the prayer list because I have been worried about my financial situation and praying that God will open a door for work.
I want to Thank everyone for praying for my Father, Jerry Strickland. On June 30 he passed and is now present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."
The prayer now is for my Mom as she continues to grieve. A specific prayer request is the need to sell my dad's truck. Please pray it sells in God's timing to the person God has in mind.
My brother is my uncle's caretaker. Sadly, my uncle is in and out of reality much of the time due to the loss of his only child in May and his wife two years ago. My brother is trying to take care of my uncle and his responsibilities by himself while trying to hold down a full time job. It is taking its toll on him. Lord, please provide the healing, strength and support you know our family needs. Both my uncle and brother need prayers badly. Thank You
I have so much grief and I have no idea what to do. I believe God and have had God come through for me many times. My situations which are multiple right now are so difficult that I simply am at a loss. I am truly shaken. I'm not doing well even though I am trying.
Please pray for my friend and Northstar member Renee Furr. She travels to Houston 10 July for pre-op appointment for cancer. She is very anxious and is asking God for a complete response treatment diagnosis.

Malakai Morris (Kai) who is 14 years old and lives in Hot Springs, AR. He has stage 4 Ewing Sarcoma Tumors in his Rt elbow, both shoulders, both hips, his Rt thigh, his pelvis, and 7 in his spline.

I just received a phone call today from my friend Rick. His grandson just got to ring the cancer free bell.
A while back Kai was visited by the Make-A-Wish foundation and he told them I do not need you guys I am not going to die. So he asked for them to help his friends that are in the hospital with him want an amazing young man. Kai is now 15 years old. The doctors are totally amazed what has happened. Rick wanted me to thank all the prayer warriors for all the prayers. Please continue to keep Kai in our prayers as he grows stronger. What an amazing God we have. This is just another story that he does work miracles in our lives. Thank you for all the prayers.
Please pray for my Dad Jerry Strickland. He had a heart attack Sunday afternoon, June 25th and has been in the hospital since then. He is on a heart pump and ventilator. Prayers that his heart and lungs are strong enough to function on their own. This Friday, June 30 is an important day. That will be the fifth day on the heart pump and that is the longest they want to keep patients on this particular device.
Please pray for Gena who was just diagnosed with cancer but has caught it early enough that she says she will be ok, but she is down to 78lbs so she isn’t doing great. But her mother has terminal cancer and might not make through the week. Any prayer y’all could send their way would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
My son, Danny McCormick, had a major heart attack this morning at 2 am EST. He is in Vero Beach, FL. They have put in two stents and he is resting comfortably right now. He will be facing a major life style change as he is a meat and potatoes kind of person that does not like fruits and vegetables. He will definitely be relying on his faith to get him through this.
