In the final days leading up to Easter, please:

Pray that God would give each of us opportunities to invite those who don’t know Christ or have wandered away from their faith and that God would do whatever is necessary to bring them in.

Pray for me to effectively communicate God’s message at the Easter services.

Pray that every volunteer would be focused and anointed to fulfill their responsibility.

Pray that our desire to become a church that helps the world find and follow Jesus compels us to make a greater impact in our community and world this Easter.

Pray for the people who come to our Easter services to be receptive to the gospel and for courage to make Jesus Lord of their lives.

Pray that our Easter services would unite our church like never before with a focus to evangelize and disciple our community, region and world.

Pray that we will break our record Easter attendance. Pray that all churches break their Easter attendance records.

I believe God is going to do the miraculous on Easter Sunday. So, we need to be prepared for that. To that end, I would like to remind you of the things you can do to help accommodate the large crowd we are expecting.

If you are able to walk the extra steps, consider parking as far away from the building as you can. This will free up parking for visitors.

Greet others and be friendly … make visitors feel welcomed.  Ask some questions to show your interest in them.  Ask them if they have any questions.

Move to the middle of the row to allow latecomers some room to sit.

After the service, meet and greet visitors … make them feel special, because they are.

We know that Easter Sunday will require some adjustments from all of us, but we are excited to do whatever we can to do to provide as many people as possible the opportunity to experience what each of us is already experiencing at Northstar.  Thank you for being flexible and helping carry the spirit and vision of our Church.
